JAPANISH NAME, DANISH BRAND AND EUROPEAN PRODUCTION SINCE 1972
In spite of its Japanese name, Kawasaki shoes are from Denmark. Created in 1972 on the badminton courts it became the most widely sold footwear in Danish history.
Created originally as technical badminton footwear, the Kawasaki shoes were designed to be light, comfortable and very resistant. A shoe with lateral reinforcement in suede and non-slip sole that grips the floor.
Currently they continue to be made in the Czech Republic, preserving the same age-old methods of production, such as hot vulcanization, which only allows the use of natural materials such as rubber, cotton or suede and avoids the use of glue in the process.
This, together with their simple stylish line of design has converted these shoes into an object of desire in current urban fashion.
Four decades after their creation they continue to be a classic of Scandinavian street culture.kawasakifootwear.com
